We chose Tavolata Belltown for our marriage celebration dinner last weekend and it exceeded all expectations! The location, seating layout, ambiance, and beautiful aesthetic were the initial draws, but we were most impressed by how much the staff helped to make the night so special! Manager Sean Ellick and his event planning team took great care in helping us coordinate the all the details leading up to our event and made sure that everything was perfect. On the night of, Sean and the entire front of house staff were incredibly welcoming and took wonderful care of everyone during the entirety of our event. In the open kitchen, Chef James ‘Juice’ Sebenoler and his staff put on a show and delivered a meal that elevated the experience for everyone! Every single one of the staff working our event were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make everyone’s night comfortable and enjoyable! Eternally thankful for a night that will be forever a core memory for us and our guests and will make it a point to come back as often as we can. Would recommend a visit to Tavolata Belltown for any occasion, big or small!

Meatballs and smoked salmon bruschetta were excellent. Pappardelle pasta was great, but other pasta dishes were a bit underwhelming. Tonnarelli seemed too chewy/undercooked. Should really come during happy hour for reasonable pricing.

I was a little skeptical as a NYC-based foodie but this place very pleasantly surprised me. There's a low-key vibe, mellow lighting, music is the perfect volume, nice staff. But the highlight is definitely the pasta - I maybe wouldn't come here for the "entrees" (salads seemed decent) it's really all about the fresh pastas. The gnocchi romana isn't quite like anything I've had before and was the type of dish I'll tell friends and family about. Well balanced with the chili in it! The papardelle also was very good with some mint. I would absolutely come back, want to try the pesto next time!

Nice place. Was told beets didn’t have that dirt beet flavor but they did, but even with that taste that beets can’t seem to escape from, they were amazing! The citrus zest strands on the paccheri made every bite a little different. The cocktails were very strong in liquor and flavor. No ice in the water made it a good pallet cleanser. Worth what we paid. Would definitely visit again if I am near by!

I got the Paccheri pasta, which was absolutely delightful. I was happy that this dish was made without egg, as many Italian forward dining experiences have trouble accommodating me. The points lost for me include the odd Diet Coke flavor (I assumed it was the can version but this tasted like it was made at the bar) as well as how cold it was in the restaurant itself. I wish I could have felt less tense while enjoying a well crafted dining experience with attentive staff. Looking forward to coming back with a sweater and ready to try a different drink. P.S, I enjoyed the water without ice!

Wonderful place. I was here for a private event and got to try several dishes. Everything was great (salad, pasta, meatballs, salmon) and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Would love to come back!

The atmosphere is lovely for a night date. The food was mid, I got the appetizer with the expectation to get what is shown on the google review, but I get the mozarella salad this time was not as well decorated as before. Pasta is a little dry and plain, not very tasty. Staff was not very caring although it was not too busy at that time while having an additional 20-25% service charge above all

[Food] Drink: Spicy Dead Lady & Golden Hour The spicy dead lady was a strong drink, I recommend another cocktail if you like sweeter drinks. The golden hour was good, it was definitely on the bitter side. Appetizer: Bruschetta The crostini was nice and crunchy, the smoked fish was creamy, and the pickled onions gave it a nice balance between creamy and salty. Main course: Pappardelle My pasta was delicious! I ate the entire thing, I added some cheese and chili flakes. It added extra flavors to make it absolutely perfect! [Service] The server was nice and welcoming. [Atmosphere] The restaurant was dark and cozy. We had a reservation and did not wait to be seated.
